Many houses in Pakistan include servant quarters, but not every family needs them. Do they add value, or are they wasted space?

I think they still add resale value because future buyers may want the option.

I’d buy it if the overall layout was good. I wouldn’t reject an otherwise great house just because it has a servant quarter.

It depends on the plot size. On larger houses it’s a useful addition, but on smaller homes it can feel like wasted space.
