Clear photos, accurate information, pricing transparency, and complete property details make a significant difference. Missing photos, vague descriptions, or unrealistic prices often discourage potential buyers.
For me, it’s when the listing has only one or two blurry photos. If the seller can’t show the property properly, I assume they’re hiding something.
An unrealistic asking price is my biggest red flag. If a property is priced much higher than similar homes in the area without any explanation, I usually move on.
I skip listings that don’t mention the exact location or block. A vague location makes it difficult to compare nearby options.
No floor plan or room dimensions. Photos can make spaces look much bigger than they really are, so I like having actual measurements.
Poor descriptions instantly put me off. If the listing just says “best investment” or “hot location” without any useful details, it doesn’t inspire confidence.
I always avoid listings where the photos have heavy filters or obvious editing. I’d rather see the property’s real condition than something overly polished.
If the listing doesn’t mention whether the property is ready for possession or still under construction, I usually keep scrolling.
Missing information about parking is a deal breaker for me, especially if I’m looking in a busy city. Parking availability affects daily convenience.
