With inflation, currency fluctuation, and changing market trends, many investors are confused between property, gold, and foreign currency. For someone looking at medium to long-term investment in Pakistan, which option currently makes more sense and why?
From my experience, property still feels safer in the long run. Even if prices stagnate short term, land and houses don’t lose intrinsic value like currency. Rental income is also a big plus compared to gold or dollars just sitting idle.
It depends on your holding power. Property is good if you can wait 3–5 years. For short-term safety, gold and dollars are more liquid. But historically, good locations in real estate outperform inflation.
