Plot buyers usually focus on road width, location, and plot dimensions, but underground infrastructure can matter after construction begins. Does the location of sewer lines or manholes affect construction, maintenance, or long-term convenience?

Yes. I would check where the sewer connection and nearby manholes are before finalizing a plot. It seems minor until construction starts.

It matters, but I wouldn’t reject a good plot solely because of it. Proper planning can solve many issues.

I’d be more concerned about the overall sewerage system of the street than one individual connection.
