In the past, buyers mostly focused on getting the biggest plot they could afford. But recently many new housing societies are promoting lifestyle features like parks, gyms, walking tracks, community centers, and security systems.
Do you think buyers now prioritize community lifestyle and amenities over just plot size? Or is plot size still the biggest factor?
Would love to hear experiences from recent buyers and investors.

From what I’ve observed, many young families now prefer smaller plots in well-planned societies instead of bigger plots in older areas. Security, parks, and proper infrastructure matter a lot now.

Plot size still matters in my opinion. Many buyers in Pakistan eventually want to build a bigger house. Amenities are nice but space is still king for most families.

I think it’s becoming balanced now. Good societies that provide both reasonable plot sizes and community facilities are attracting the most demand.

In big cities like Lahore and Islamabad I think lifestyle is becoming more important. People want jogging tracks, clean streets, and security for their kids. A slightly smaller plot in a well-maintained society can be better than a big plot in a poorly managed area.

For genuine home buyers lifestyle definitely matters more now. Schools nearby, parks, grocery stores, and community environment make daily life easier.

Plot size still has strong value especially for people who want to build their dream house. Many families prefer a larger house rather than paying more for society facilities they may not use often.

Overseas Pakistanis usually prefer societies with good lifestyle facilities. They are used to organized communities abroad, so they look for similar environments in Pakistan.
